Findings: In fig. 1, a coronal PD-fat suppressed image demonstrates the normal supraspinatus insertion, covering the superior facet of the greater tuberosity (line), which is often referred to as the rotator cuff footprint. Note the close proximity of the humeral head articular cartilage to the medial insertion of the cuff (arrow in fig1).
